Mini-zine 3-pack

A bundle of three mini-zines by yours truly:

1) DIMLY RECALLED DOGGIES OF MY HOOSIER YOUTH: A cat person looks back on the dogs with whom she was acquainted in her childhood—open it up and flat it out for some reminiscing about Bushrod, the car-chasing, banana-snouted scourge of East 80th Street. A teeny weeny zine-y that spills some tea on Hoosier beasts of the canine variety, to tide you over while you await the next ish of the East Village Inky. Ex-Circulation Manager Jambo does not approve.

2) DIRTY DRAWINGS IN A LIBRARY DRAWER: Exactly what it sounds like. A collaboration between me and an unsuspecting amateur artist (or perhaps more than one) who took the opportunity to ink some sexually explicit scenes directly onto the bottom of an empty desk drawer (or rather, I should say, empty until it wasn't) in an out-of-the-way corner in the library where I write several times a week. The surprise hit of the 2022 American Library Association Conference! NSFW! Open it up and add a dirty drawing of your own.

3) LIBRARIES I HAVE KNOWN AND MOSTLY LOVED: An non-mini 8-pager created in May 2011 as part of the NYPL's centennial celebration on a zine-themed crafternoon, with one page updated in 2021 owing to sands that shift as another decade slips below the ol' belt. (Don't worry, it's still plenty messy, just the way we like it!) Celebrate 100 years of library loving, with stops in Juneau, Alaska; Indianapolis, Indiana; Evanston, Illinois; Gasparilla Island, Florida; Wellfleet, Massachusetts; and of course, NEW YORK Fckn' CITY. Call it a coloring book and it's almost as fun as turning George Washington into a mushroom!
